A Moose in the Mountains

On Sunday, we went on a leisurely walk in the mountains of Logan Canyon. It was such a wonderful day that we just had to be outside.

We were driving along Highway 89, when I saw a black thing on the side of the canyon. We turned around and parked and walked to where we could see it.

It was a moose! How cool. I felt awesome for spotting it.

Look closely and you can see that it is shedding its winter fur.
